Amy Galon Photography Studios was born from a simple belief: people make the best art, and love stories deserve to be told beautifully. Founded in 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio, we began as Amy's personal journey from successful jewelry artist to capturing the magic between couples. What started as photographing family and friends quickly grew into something extraordinary when people saw the artistry and emotion in every frame.
Here at AGP, we are a team of passionate photographers who love everything about capturing love stories and the people who make them interesting. We often debate what we love more - people or art - though we never reach a clear conclusion. One thing we know for certain: we absolutely love our job. Over 500 weddings later, we've been featured worldwide in Brides Magazine, inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame since 2019, and earned Best of The Knot awards every year since 2017. My journey to wedding photography began with my grandmother Betty, who taught me to put a creative touch on everything. After building a successful handmade jewelry business that sold in over 150 shops worldwide, I discovered my true calling when I became a mother and started photographing my own family. The way I captured authentic emotion and genuine moments caught the attention of friends, and Amy Galon Photography was born.
What makes me different is my artist's eye combined with my genuine love for people. Photography has become the career I've always wanted, and it never feels like a job to me. I love the feeling of getting lost behind the lens, completely immersed in capturing your unique vision.
